The new HS2 (High Speed Rail) station located at Curzon Street, in the heart of the city, will reduce train travel time to London from 1 hour and 10 minutes to 49 minutes.
The recently expanded Birmingham Airport will serve over 10 million travellers from over 140 cities around the world including China.
The Big City Plan will expand the Birmingham city centre core by 25%, adding over 2 million sqm. of new commercial space and will require over 40,000 new homes to satisfy current demand.

John has been based in Hong Kong for over 25 years. He has a Bachelor of Building (BSc); is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building (FCIOB), Fellow of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (FHKIE).
Director of Sales and Marketing
Florian is acting in a consultancy capacity for Hathway Capital Group advising on exit strategies. Florian has worked in various sales and marketing management roles in Asia and has been based in China and Hong Kong for over 15 years before recently relocating to Singapore. He has a dual degree in Business Administration from ESSEC Business School (France) and the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade (China). He is also the author of “The Lowdown: China Business Etiquette”, the must have top tips guide to doing business in China.
Ryan acts as our Investor relations manager, assisting with site appraisals, seeking further capital, and communicating with existing investors. Ryan has been in Hong Kong for six years, initially working at Cushman & Wakefield, and then a U.K. residential developer before joining Hathway Capital. Ryan holds and BSc from Loughborough University, and an MBA with a Real Estate focus from UCEM.
